What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a type of NDIS support that helps you live in your own home with the right level of assistance for your needs. It’s designed for people who need regular or 24/7 help with everyday tasks, but still want to enjoy the freedom and independence of their own space.
Whether you live in a shared home or by yourself, SIL can include
support with things like personal care, cooking, cleaning, taking
medication, or building your daily living skills.

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services are designed to provide a safe, supportive home environment where participants can build independence, develop life skills, and feel truly at home.
With Attuned Care, SIL is more than just support, it’s about creating a lifestyle that reflects each person’s goals, preferences, and pace. Participants are supported with everyday routines such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and managing their day-to-day responsibilities, while also being encouraged to build confidence and independence over time.
